The goal of the GPRS Deliverables Department is to deliver clear and understandable findings with each of our outputs from field markings to field sketches, KMZ files, or CAD drawings that provide 2D site plans or even 3D CAD models. In addition, upon the completion of every project, our customers receive a job summary that includes job scope information, site photos, description of site conditions, equipment used, and notes from the project.

GPR USED FOR SUBSURFACE LOCATE IN PHOENIX
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, LLC. of Phoenix, Arizona was contacted by a local Environmental firm to clear some areas inside this factory so they were able to drill for soil samples. When doing this type of locate we need to utilize two types of scanners so that we can see what lies within the concrete and what lies beneath it. This factory has a bunch of machinery that requires a bunch of electrical to operate it and the last thing you want to do is to drill through a live conduit and potentially hurt someone or even to shut down part of the factory. GPRS was able to use multiple methods of locating to be sure that the drillers would not drill through an underground utility line. It was a good thing that they hired us because otherwise they would have drilled right through some main power in a few of there locations. Anytime you need to penetrate the ground or through concrete then you should always contact GPRS to make sure that particular location is clear of obstructions.

UTILITY LOCATING IN TUCSON
GPRS’s office in Phoenix, Arizona was hired by a client to locate utilities outside of a small strip mall in Tucson, AZ. The contractor at the site was needing to cut the asphalt and excavate for the installation of a new gas line to a pizza store that was being built inside a vacant tenant space. All of the utilities for this entire strip mall entered through the back of the plaza where they were wanting to install the new gas line. This was a very busy area with all utilities running through the location of there trench. GPRS was able to direct connect to all of the power conduits to trace them out along with water and communication lines. One everything was located with the RD 7000, we then used the GPR to locate some more unknown lines and to give depths for all of the other utilities that we were able to locate. The work we did here was very helpful for the contractor to keep the project running smoothly without having additional cost to fix unknown utilities that they would have cut through.
